We discovered that Kacie became deaf when she was 2 from her illness with spinal meningitis, also that she did not recall herself interview at all since she was so young. Growing up she was not a part of a deaf family, her whole family was he aring. Her best-loved method of sign is PS! E because she notified us that it is easier to communicate most of the time. When she was exploitation up she communicated to her family with her vocalization with very little sign and to this day she still does.
